I had a terrific experience with Ryan Bohannan of Wooten Plumbing. He was able to arrive shortly after after I called. I appreciated that he wore shoe covers in the house. I was impressed that he not only unjammed the garbage disposal, but gave me instructions with pictures on how to handle it myself next time.
Conducted leak detection
Install Halo 5 whole home water conditioning unit. 10 year manufacturing warranty.
Upon arrival to home, conducted an inspection of piping in attic space for any obvious breaks pr separation in gas lines that would cause a leak. Was informed that ONG has shut gas off to home due to a gas leak they could not detect. While preparing to install a pressure test gauge on main service kick in on outside home discovered that the line going into the home was extremely loose and possibly broken. At this point at a bare minimum the main kick in needs to be replaced.
The current hot water slab leak is believed to be on a 3/4" pex line that runs under the slab from the water heater closet to the master bathroom shower. To temporarily restore hot water to the home until further action can be taken we will reroute the leaking line. In an attempt to find the other end of the leaking line we will cut out sheetrock behind the master shower to access the hot water manifold. Another access hole may be needed if the correct line isn't found to be behind the master shower like suspected. Once both ends of the leaking line are found we will cap it off and reroute the line exposed through the home. Not responsible for repairs or damages to sheetrock, flooring or trim.
